Fexofin 180 mg contains fexofenadine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that helps control allergic symptoms by blocking the effects of histamine.
The 180 mg strength is indicated for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above for relief of symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria, including itching, swelling, and skin rashes. | How To Use | Take one 180 mg tablet once daily with water, preferably before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not take a double dose if you forget a dose; take the next dose at the usual time. Leave approximately 2 hours between Fexofin and antacids containing aluminium or magnesium. ([SDI][1]) |
| Warning | Do not use if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any ingredient in the medicine. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney or liver problems, heart disease, or are elderly. Although fexofenadine is unlikely to impair driving, dizziness or drowsiness may occur in some people, so assess your response before driving or operating machinery. Fexofenadine should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary and is not recommended during breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children and store below 30°C. ([SDI][1]) |
