Restomap 20 mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets contain esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including symptomatic reflux and erosive reflux oesophagitis, and may be used for long-term management after healing to help prevent recurrence. Restomap may also be prescribed with appropriate antibiotics for Helicobacter pylori-associated peptic ulcers, for the treatment or prevention of ulcers associated with continued NSAID therapy, and for other conditions involving excessive gastric acid production.

How To Use Take Restomap exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the gastro-resistant tablet whole with water without chewing or crushing it. The medicine may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly according to the prescribed treatment schedule.
Warning Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole, other proton pump inhibitors, or any ingredient in the medicine. Inform your doctor if you have severe liver problems or are taking other medicines. Seek medical advice if you experience unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting, difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood, black stools, or severe or persistent diarrhea. Long-term treatment may require monitoring of magnesium and vitamin B12 levels and may increase the risk of certain infections or bone fractures. Use during pregnancy only after consulting a healthcare professional.
