| How To Use | Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual adult dose is 500 mg three times daily. If the response is insufficient, the doctor may increase the dose to 750 mg three times daily. The dose may be reduced as symptoms improve. It may be taken with or without food. |
| Warning | Do not use if you are allergic to chlorzoxazone or any ingredient in the medicine. Rare but serious liver injury has been reported; stop treatment and seek medical advice if symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, upper abdominal pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes occur. Chlorzoxazone may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Avoid alcohol and other central nervous system depressants because their sedative effects may be increased. Use during pregnancy only after medical assessment when the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Keep out of reach of children and store below 30°C. |
