| How To Use | Take one prolonged-release tablet once daily, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole and do not crush or chew it, as this may affect the prolonged-release action. It may be taken with or without food. If a dose is forgotten, it may be taken later the same day. If an entire day is missed, continue with the next scheduled daily dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. |
| Warning | Do not use if you are allergic to tamsulosin or any ingredient in the medicine, have previously experienced dizziness or fainting due to a drop in blood pressure when changing position, or have severely impaired liver function. Consult your doctor before use if you have severe kidney impairment. Tamsulosin may cause dizziness or faintness; sit or lie down until symptoms pass and avoid driving or hazardous activities if affected. Inform your eye specialist before cataract or glaucoma surgery if you currently use or have previously used tamsulosin. Blood pressure may decrease when taken with medicines used to treat high blood pressure. Ejaculatory disorders, including reduced or absent ejaculation or retrograde ejaculation, may occur. Not intended for children or adolescents under 18 years. Seek medical attention if more than the prescribed dose is taken. |
