Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant Liquid is a concentrated antiseptic solution that kills bacteria and germs on the skin and helps protect against infection from minor cuts, scratches, bites and stings. It can also be used for household disinfection when used according to the recommended directions.
Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant Liquid is a concentrated multi-purpose antiseptic solution designed for first aid, personal hygiene and household disinfection.
When properly diluted, it can be used to cleanse minor cuts, grazes, bites and stings and help protect against germs that may cause infection. It may also be used for selected personal hygiene applications including bathing and scalp care according to the recommended dilution instructions.
For household hygiene, Dettol can be used for nurseries, linen, floors, hard surfaces, lavatories, suitable sinks, drains and bins. The correct dilution or method of use should always be followed for each application.
Do not apply undiluted Dettol to the skin.

| How To Use | For cuts, grazes, bites and stings: dilute 50ml in 1 litre of water, cleanse the affected area and cover with a clean, dry dressing if needed. For external antisepsis in midwifery: dilute 25ml in 1 litre of water. For nurseries: dilute 50ml in 1 litre of water. For linen, napkins and handkerchiefs: dilute 25ml in 1 litre of water. For floors and hard surfaces: dilute 25ml in 1 litre of water. For lavatories, non-acrylic sinks, drains and bins: the supplied instructions allow use undiluted. For bathing: add 1–2 capfuls to bath water. For dandruff: dilute 25ml in 1 litre of warm water, pour over the scalp, leave for 10 minutes, then shampoo. For spots and pimples: dilute 50ml in 1 litre of warm water and bathe the affected area daily. Always follow the instructions on the product label. |
