Caremed Pressure-Activated Safety Lancets are designed to provide a simple, controlled and hygienic method for obtaining capillary blood samples. They are suitable for applications such as routine blood glucose monitoring where a small blood sample is required.
Each lancet is equipped with a fine 30-gauge needle and a preset penetration depth of 1.6 mm. The sharp, triple-beveled tip is designed to provide efficient skin penetration while helping reduce discomfort during blood sampling. The pressure-activated mechanism allows the lancet to be triggered by applying controlled pressure against the sampling site, eliminating the need for a separate conventional lancing device.

| How To Use | Wash and dry your hands before use. Select and clean the intended sampling site according to appropriate blood-testing procedures. Remove the protective cover as directed, place the lancet firmly against the sampling site, and apply pressure to activate it. Collect the required blood sample. Dispose of the used lancet immediately in an appropriate sharps container. Do not reuse. |
